Thank You for your
interest in the
E. D. White Indoor Percussion
The E D White indoor percussion program began in 2001 as part of the Cardinal Music program at E D White Catholic High School in Thibodaux Louisiana, consisting of students in grades 8-12. Indoor percussion marries elements of musical performance, marching, and theater; thus, the activity is often referred to as percussion theater.

WGI
Winter Guard International, or WGI, is the organization that we compete in. WGI uses a competition-based approach for organizing events in order to showcase youth activities in pursuit of high standards of achievement. Events include about 60 Regionals and Power Regionals, which lead to the three-day World Championships evaluating more than 350 guards, 250 percussion ensembles, and 40 winds groups.
2022 Season and Show
E D White indoor percussion is planning to attend the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, this year on April 21-22, 2022, so we are reaching out to your company to consider advertising on the backside of our props to help offset travel costs. We are confident the audience that we perform for would benefit from your company’s message as we attend in-person competitions this year after our 2020 season was halted mid-season because of the Covid Pandemic.

Our plan is to reclaim our 2020 program based on Michael W. Smith’s song “There She Stands”, a tribute to honor the men and women who have fought and died for our freedom in this country. Is this a message you can get behind?

The opportunity to perform this heroic, patriotic piece only arose twice in 2020 and the show was never fully presented. We understand and empathize that our area is still rebuilding from the direct hit of hurricane Ida, however, if you are able to support us in any way, we would be so grateful. Let our students represent not only your company, but what we stand for as a community with southern hospitality and humble generosity for one another in the Southeast. Support local education, honor the USA and promote your product or service at the same time.

Below you will find more info about our group,
and how the props will be used.
E D White Catholic High School Indoor Percussion has competed in the Louisiana Mississippi percussion circuit since 2002 and has won 14 gold medals and 3 silver medals at the circuits’ championships, all while humbly representing the character and spiritual commitment expected by students enrolled at E D White. They have also had the privilege of attending the WGI world championships in Dayton Ohio, finishing as finalists 4 out of the 10 times attending, with 2 of those titles being the PSA silver medal in 2017 and 2019 – a international honor.
Our program has been featured in WGI’s first-ever WGIcon in New Orleans in 2019. This new concept is an educating platform for administrators of Percussion, Winds, and Color Guard groups around the globe. E D White’s very own Keith Ledet was chosen as a speaker to present “Inside the Show E D White High School PSA” - a backstage look at how the vision for a performance becomes a reality from the birthing to the final product.
This competitive and administrative success on a statewide and national level, performing for large audiences, with consistent flow in the warmup area, gives cause to consider advertising on the back of our indoor percussion props. The props are the first and last pieces of equipment unloaded and loaded at each competition. Your logo will be displayed in the parking lot upon unloading, as well as in the arena during the set-up and tear down of the set.

This will give your logo exposure to hundreds of crowd participants with ample time to read your message. Your ad add will be 3’x4’ in size, printed and displayed on our prop panel in full color. Once our competition season concludes, we will be happy to give you the display panel. Imagine how your business could benefit from the market that attends our indoor shows. Reserve your spot today!
